OSU Badminton Open for Nov. 8 in Corvallis

Play in Corvallis, Oregon, with cash prizes totalling $450 and other door goodies. Deadline for this event is Nov. 3 where you can also email your entries. WSBA B-C-D Tourney adds Novice level Nov. 14-16

WSBA will hold the B-C-D + Novice Tournament at the Bellevue Badminton Club on Nov. 14-16. Entry deadline: Nov. 2, 2008. Tournament directed by James Lau and Clinton Chen. Click here for registration and more info.Result

Chris Gulin Masters Event at Bellevue Dec. 5-7

Tournament open to players ages 30 and up. See entry forms for age categories. Registration deadline: Nov. 23. Events will have consolation rounds when there are more than 6 teams or players. Olympian Raju Rai Head Coach at Bellevue

We are please to announce that USA Olympic athlete Raju Rai has accepted the Head Coach position at the Bellevue Badminton Club. Raju represented the USA at the Beijing Olympics in August and has been coaching our juniors at the Bellevue Badminton Club for the past week. He is a 4-time USA Singles Champion and as a coach has developed national junior champions. We are fortunate to have such a skilled and experienced coach join our club as a full time professional. He along with Paz Bensira will be coaching the Bellevue Badminton Clubs Junior National team as well as several other classes for juniors and adults. Please welcome him and stop by the club to meet him when he starts October 12th. Junior lessons are available for are levels and age groups. The schedule can be viewed at www.bellevuebadminton.com.

WA 2008 Junior Open Results Posted

Wendy Carter Wildshuttle Clinics at SeaTac

Four sessions slated for tournament players (Juniors 10+) on 10/11, 11/1, 11/22, 12/6. Each 3-1/2 hour session will have different instruction focus: See linked file for more information. NWBA is the official Region 4 organization of USA Badminton.  The objective of NWBA and this website is to promote grass roots players from beginner to elite, to further the competitive tournament opportunities throughout the region, to keep members informed and up-to-date with regional activities and to serve as the central location for all things connected to Region 4 of the USAB.
